Keep your site
working harder.
Website care and practical SEO in Cornwall.
Your website is live. Now it needs to stay reliable, reflect the business you run today and help the right people find you. I can take on a defined list of fixes, review your search foundations or agree ongoing care. We start with what the evidence says, not a generic monthly package.
[ 01 / IS THIS FOR YOU? ]
When the site needs attention.
- Search Console shows impressions but few relevant clicks or enquiries.
- Services have changed, but your pages and case studies have not caught up.
- Updates, broken features or hosting questions keep getting pushed down the list.
[ 02 / THE WORK ]
What is involved.
Start with a useful review.
I look at the pages people land on, the enquiries they can make and any available Search Console data. Indexing, broken links, mobile usability and site health help us separate urgent fixes from worthwhile improvements.
Improve pages, not just metadata.
We can clarify service pages, add relevant project evidence, strengthen internal links and make contact routes easier. Search titles and descriptions support useful content; they do not replace it.
Agree the right level of care.
A one-off repair, a batch of improvements or ongoing maintenance are different jobs. We define updates, backups, monitoring, hosting responsibilities and reporting before any recurring work begins.
[ 03 / SELECTED WORK ]
See it in practice.

One person.
A clear plan.
You work directly with me, from the first conversation through to the work itself.
Start with the rough version.
Tell me what you need, what is getting in the way and any deadline or budget you have in mind.
Agree the scope.
We work through the requirements, responsibilities and costs. You can see what is included before deciding to go ahead.
Build, review and hand over.
We agree review points and check the important journeys. Handover and any ongoing support form part of the plan.
[ 05 / BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE ]
The practical
questions.
Can you guarantee a first-page ranking?+
No. Search positions depend on the query, competition and many factors outside one website. I can explain the work, prioritise useful improvements and measure progress. A ranking guarantee would not be an honest promise.
How quickly will SEO make a difference?+
Technical fixes can be checked once they are made, but search visibility develops over time and results vary. We use an agreed baseline and review progress rather than promise a fixed date for rankings.
Is support the same thing as SEO?+
No. Website care covers items such as hosting, updates and maintenance. SEO focuses on discovery and relevant traffic. You can discuss either, or agree a scope covering both.
Do you offer one-off help?+
We can scope a particular fix or a review, as well as ongoing work. Send the current website and the problem you want to solve so I can assess what is involved.
How do we know if it is working?+
For SEO, we look at relevant search impressions and clicks and, where tracking is available, enquiries. For maintenance, we agree the tasks and coverage. Third-party services and additional work are identified in the scope.
[ LET’S TALK ]
Talk through my website.
Send your website and the one problem you would most like solved. If search visibility is the concern, we can arrange Search Console access after the first conversation and use it to set priorities.
Just exploring? That is a useful place to start, too.
