WordPress
development
in Cornwall.

Built for the people who use it. And update it.

A WordPress website should work for your customers and the person adding next week’s timetable. I build and improve sites with clear editing options, useful integrations and room for the business to grow.

[ 01 / IS THIS FOR YOU? ]

When the build needs a bit more thought.

  • You have a design or a brand and need someone to turn it into a working website.
  • Every small update feels complicated, or depends on someone else.
  • Your website needs forms, event pages or tools that fit the way you work.

[ 02 / THE WORK ]

What is involved.

01

Make the right things editable.

We identify what your team changes most often and build the editing experience around it. That might mean reusable pages, structured project details or straightforward controls for timetables and FAQs.

02

Connect the useful parts.

Forms, emails, analytics and other integrations are scoped around the task. We look at the options, ongoing licences and limitations before committing to a particular tool.

03

Check the details before handover.

The launch checks cover key phone and desktop layouts, enquiry routes and the content you will be updating. Performance and accessibility are part of the build decisions; ongoing maintenance is agreed separately.

[ 03 / SELECTED WORK ]

See it in practice.

Updates the owner can make himself.

The site was built in Elementor so Steve could update FAQs and timetables as his gym and martial arts academy developed.

[ 04 / WORKING TOGETHER ]

One person.
A clear plan.

You work directly with me, from the first conversation through to the work itself.

  1. Start with the rough version.

Tell me what you need, what is getting in the way and any deadline or budget you have in mind.

  2. Agree the scope.

We work through the requirements, responsibilities and costs. You can see what is included before deciding to go ahead.

  3. Build, review and hand over.

We agree review points and check the important journeys. Handover and any ongoing support form part of the plan.

[ 05 / BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE ]

The practical
questions.

Can you work on an existing WordPress site?

Often, yes. I first need to look at the theme, plugins, hosting and the problem you want to solve. That review helps us judge whether a focused improvement or a rebuild is the better use of your budget.

Will I be able to update it myself?

That is part of the brief. We agree which content you need to manage and include an appropriate editing setup and handover. You can also ask me to handle changes after launch.

Who owns the website?

Ownership, administrator access and the handover are set out in the scope. We also identify any third-party themes, plugins or services with their own licences or subscriptions, so access and recurring costs are clear.

Do I need to use your hosting?

Hosting can be included or we can discuss your existing setup. I will check it is suitable for the build and explain any requirements before we start.

What affects the price and timing?

Custom functionality, integrations, content migration and the amount of design work all affect the scope. Send a link to the current site and explain what it needs to do; I can then work out the technical requirements and quote.

[ LET’S TALK ]

Discuss my WordPress site.

Send a link to your site or describe the build you have in mind. Tell me who will edit it and which tasks are difficult today. I will review what is needed before recommending a scope.

Just exploring? That is a useful place to start, too.
