WooCommerce
that works.

A clearer way to sell through WordPress.

An online shop needs more than attractive product pages. I plan and build WooCommerce stores around finding products, understanding delivery and returns, completing checkout and managing orders without unnecessary admin.

[ 01 / IS THIS FOR YOU? ]

Is the store holding you back?

  • You need a first online shop that your team can actually manage.
  • Your current WooCommerce store has a confusing checkout or too many manual steps.
  • Products, payments, delivery or stock need to connect with the rest of your business.

[ 02 / THE WORK ]

What is involved.

01

Plan the buying journey.

We work through product types and variations, navigation, search, delivery options, returns information and the questions customers ask before buying. The phone checkout gets particular attention.

02

Build around your operations.

The scope can include product setup, payments, tax and shipping configuration, transactional emails and agreed integrations. We identify plugin licences, payment charges and recurring costs before build.

03

Test and hand over.

We check product choices, basket, checkout, payment, confirmation, refunds or cancellation rules and order management against the agreed setup. Your team gets a usable editing and order workflow.

These projects demonstrate WordPress development and online purchasing journeys. They are not presented as WooCommerce store case studies.

[ 04 / WORKING TOGETHER ]

One person.
A clear plan.

You work directly with me, from the first conversation through to the work itself.

  1. Start with the rough version.

Tell me what you need, what is getting in the way and any deadline or budget you have in mind.

  2. Agree the scope.

We work through the requirements, responsibilities and costs. You can see what is included before deciding to go ahead.

  3. Build, review and hand over.

We agree review points and check the important journeys. Handover and any ongoing support form part of the plan.

[ 05 / BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE ]

The practical
questions.

Is WooCommerce right for my business?

It is a strong option when you want an online shop within a flexible WordPress site. It is not automatically the best choice for every retailer. We compare your products, team, integrations and running costs with alternatives such as Shopify before deciding.

Can you improve an existing WooCommerce shop?

Yes, subject to an initial review of the theme, plugins, hosting and checkout. That shows whether a focused improvement or a rebuild is safer and more cost-effective.

What does an online shop cost to run?

Allow for hosting, payment-processing fees and any paid plugins or external services, as well as maintenance. The exact mix depends on the features agreed; I set out known recurring costs in the proposal.

Who adds the products?

We agree this in the scope. I can set up the structure and an initial catalogue, then show your team how to manage products, or include more content population if needed.

Will you set up tax and delivery rules?

I can configure the rules you provide and test how they behave. You remain responsible for deciding legal, tax and shipping policies with the appropriate advisers; these need to be confirmed before launch.

[ LET’S TALK ]

Discuss my online shop.

Tell me what you sell, how many products or variations you have and how you handle payment and delivery today. If a shop already exists, send the link and the parts that need improving.

Just exploring? That is a useful place to start, too.
